Short Sale Expectations

Not Short on time, effort or patience. When you represent the buyer, you should educate them on what they can expect. Short sales are complicated transactions that require a lot of patience and the ability to act swiftly when tasked. I will usually prep the client that it could take up to 3+months to close, if at all, but at the same time be prepared to close much sooner. Once approved, the bank will generally give a close at or before date. Stay on top of these with regular checks of the Magistrates Master.
